At long last my collection “A Crofters Life” is ready!
I am excited to launch this new collection. I am just about to add a gallery to the menu but in the meantime here I am featuring “Did you shut the gate?” I don`t think I need to explain what went on when the shepherd was out of the way. Let’s hope they wiped their feet on the way in!
A lighthearted depiction of life on Highland & Island farms and crofts. I see the challenges facing rural crofting & farming communities. I have great admiration for those who live on the edges and struggle to make it work for them. And admiration of the many creative industries and artists that spring from these isolated places. Helping these communities deal with the challenges they face every day, and showing the diversity of work that supports our mainland and island communities.
“Did you shut the gate?” is available as a mounted 8x10in print @ £30 (mounted size is 10x12in approx). Each Print replicates the original artwork. Printed onto the same good quality 250gsm pinseal textured paper on which the original artwork was made.
